Your boy been fly since his very first second on earth
Guess that's why I keep referrin to myself in the third person
I get so high I can't remember the words
to the verse that I wrote, oh right, I don't write nothin
Now everywhere I go they be like "look at that dogg!
so much swag he could put it to a pussycat doll"
I just give a little cat call, put her on the catwalk
Loosen up her buttons it ain't nothin to a rap star
and they're sayin I'ma mess up my album
if I can't stop my obsession with how to
get to hollywood get the respect and the power
How else am I supposed to get with Jessica Alba?
Or Kristin Cavalieri, Halle Berry, Eva Mendez
Take'em all back to school, teach'em sex ed
tell'em they gon' have to prove who got the best head
she gon' be my half of two until my deathbed

NO I CAN'T BE STOPPED
I GOT 15 MINUTES OF FAME AND YOU WON'T TAKE'EM AWAY
NO I CAN'T BE STOPPED
I GOT 15 MINUTES OF FAME AND YOU WON'T TAKE'EM AWAY
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
I CAN'T BE SAVED...CUZ I'M A FUTURE CELEBRITY
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
I WON'T BE SAVED
CUZ I'M A FUTURE CELEBRITY

Well I just got my apartment covered in red carpet
I'm feeling like I'm a star whenever I walk across it
I could be a star sleepin on a park bench
I could be a star if I was eatin from the garbage
Catch me at the bar I'm probly leavin with your daughter
She goes to my apartment -- she ain't leavin til tomorrow
see me when I rock, call it Jesus on the water
cuz they can't believe what they're seein in my aura
born to me a star -- born with a big head
down to get married to some model I just met
down to get divorced before three, and the next day
get even more fame by releasing the sex tape
I don't give a damn what the priests or the press say
As long as everybody cop my CD and press play
until I've been banned in every one of the red states
then I'ma keep doing my thing (Cuz I'm a future celebrity)

NO I CAN'T BE STOPPED…

The paparazzi wanna watch me gettin my coffee from starbucks
You think I'll be caring at all when I’m getting the star bucks? I can’t stop baby, I’m about my grind So much money my accountant can’t count that high
I’m talkin money that'll cop the crib on an Ibiza beach
I'm flyin in first class, never the cheaper seats I stopped goin to church—I’m letting my Visa preach so even my Jesus piece is wearing a Jesus piece
forgive me, Lord, I'm livin on easy street
I got America’s Top Model tellin me she’s a freak I got vegan girls treating me like a piece of meat and everything I ever wanted better believe it’s free
so yes that is a brand new car, don’t even breath on it
until I (I..I...I…) THROW SOME D’S ON IT
I know you're hatin you should let it be
K-Nice remember the name (cuz I'm a future celebrity) NO I CAN'T BE STOPPED

Can’t talk about the money no more – it ain’t comin in label’s don’t give it up, I think they’re Republican they blame it on the downloadin but on the down low I think they’re goin down with their mouths open “yes homo”, the best promo goes to the brown nosers well I refuse to take part in that hip hop’s dead, my ma’s about to have a Cardiac my little sister’s runnin ‘round screamin “where the party at?” and she don’t even know where the Party at— down on K street putting money through the laundromat nah I can’t say that—no politics even with Obama in, still got a lotta ish that we ain’t doin nothing bout—I ain’t on the frontline I bought a Vote Or Die shirt one time, I wrote a couple George Bush punchlines. But I apologize—I’m such a hypocrite we ain’t picketin’ they do it for us we’re getting fat eatin Threat Level Oranges but my point is I’m tryin to stop frontin on my Seinfeld shh, so we talk about nothing I’M GOIN CRAZY TRYIN TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO SAY WHEN NOTHING’S OK I THINK WE’VE ALL GONE CRAZY SAVE ME BEFORE WE ALL START TO SOUND THE SAME BEFORE WE ALL START TO PLAY THE GAME WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS: YOU CAN’T SAY THAT, CAN’T TALK ABOUT THAT, SO WE TALK ABOUT NOTHING Can’t talk about cars with these gas prices no songs about cars: that’s a rap crisis if you say you can’t afford it, lose your rap license and picture me writing a song about a black hybrid I am so sick of people sayin that they’re goin green sounds like a bunch of people saying “notice me!” OK I notice you, you got my respect-- drive around in a Prius and fly a private jet? well I guess it’s all a ruse, huh? ya’ll got me wantin to increase my pollution here the truth comes: know what they say about a big carbon footprint— huge junk. yeah I know it sounds screwed up but you can say anything if it’s SCREWED UP I do me I ain’t doin what the group does I see the bridge, you jump ma your baby just grew up I don’t even eat no more, I do lunch one thing I ain’t doin that’s frontin on my Seinfeld shhhh, so we talk about nothing I’M GOIN CRAZY… I can’t talk about my problems no more we all got’em now Main Street’s suffering, Wall Street’s bottomed out they blame it on the Dow Jones we don’t care who to blame we’re getting kicked out of our households basically, we’re drowning with our mouths open and they’re telling us to keep our mouths shut my account’s frozen, but we ain’t mad at our luck as long as no one on the corner got SWAGGER LIKE US but, gotta watch what we say they could be listening [like who?] the CIA is on a mission and [who else?] kids these days, they’re so inquisitive [so what?] so for a while we were whisperin like wait til you see my shhhhh but all of that sounds like shhhh we had enough of that they wanna dissect the lines like a running back-- well is it any wonder that I’m goin crazy? I’M GOIN CRAZY…

SMILE FOR THE CAMERAS You can’t imagine what I’m feelin like I mean if this is hard work – what an easy life soon as I get on stage, they start screamin like there’s a war going on over where I sleep tonight but you gotta know they don’t intend on sleepin right just in case my mom is listening I’m trying to be polite you ever seen so many women trying to be the wife? I’m used to hearing I’m the ish, now I believe the hype so I’m standin in the mirror doin interviews like, “whatcha think of me dog? cuz I am into you!” and that’s only on the days I’m being cynical If I was anyone other than me I would be miserable you’re thinking that you shouldn’t take it literal but I meant every single word, every syllable I am a star in my own sky take my picture if you don’t mind, or just flash me   I JUST SMILE FOR THE CAMERAS I JUST SMILE FOR THE FOR THE CAMERAS COME ON AND SMILE FOR THE CAMERAS FLICK FLICK FLICK FLICK POSE SMILE FOR THE CAMERAS I’M JUST SMILING THE FOR THE CAMERAS YEAH I SMILE FOR THE CAMERAS FLICK FLICK FLICK FLICK POSE   half an army at the after party so let’s throw that new Blackout on and see what happens shawty your girl keeps grabbing on me— she wanna make a baby, I don’t, but she can practice on me but she’s talking ‘bout herself, I’m getting sick of that I’m the only topic that I’ll talk about, you getting that? I gotta drink, she’s like “let me get a sip of that” nah this ain’t Patron, I filled the bottle with Aristocrat cuz we’re ballin’ on a budget, gotta make rent we don’t make expensive toasts here, it wastes bread but we party like we’re made men and take shots until the game ends, with no misses we keep no Mrs. if they ain’t 10s and if you aint good lookin then we ain’t friends if you’re 23 or older than you’re an-cient the E-Channel’s got my head messed up; you can blame them I JUST SMILE FOR THE CAMERAS… we got shooters all around but they’re one and a half ounces who the heck invited him? the one in the whack outfit if you want respect from a dime, you better dress to the nines aren’t I wonderful at counting? how can you’re boy be so fly I mean, I am dunking from the free-throw line soon as she sees what I’m wearing then she’s gonna try to leave so you can hate on the fit the ends justify the jeans yeah I rock like this wear’em kinda skinny, makes my knots look big I hope that’s not your chick cuz she’s standing right over there taking pictures when you look like this, they’re gonna notice you another night, another photoshoot first things first we got a show to do so please pull your cameras out or just flash me   SMILE FOR THE CAMERAS…

Just a young dude, comfortable home enclosed by a white picket fence it still sits in front of the roses growing in the garden, pretty flowers all across it blowin in the wind, listenin to him and mom talking late at night about God, about life, about wrong, about right, about how the strongest survive the fight, make a mark before they die so while we lie awake at night he’d ponder why at times he cried at the thought of dying with no purpose earth gets cold with such feelings and so his search began for meaning at the moment, he sought to act on dreams he’d been holding dreams of being a soldier at war for his people they need him, he’s holding their freedom above his own life, he couldn’t hold tight and in the morning he left home a soldier TAKE MY FATE AND THROW IT TO THE WIND TAKE MY LIFE AND THROW IT AWAY CUZ I’M LEAVING IN THE MORNING MAMA AND I MIGHT NOT BE COMING HOME CUZ I’M A SOLDIER BOY NOW MAMA AND I MIGHT NOT BE COMING HOME His mom knew from the second he entered the draft he’d be gone in November and never coming back as his path unraveled, time traveled and he battled back through black shadows in his fallow mind a war unkind was being fought as he tried to find the kind of war he thought was real a war where honor feels like the only choice the voice of God revealing heroes the people He destined to be remembered legends embedded forever in our hearts but when the first shot hit the squad sergeant in hia heart he saw we’re all easy targets in the darkness of the human mind where lines are drawn dividing you and I this life is do or die for no reason and in the line of fire there’s no freedom TAKE MY FATE… Months later he’s facing mayhem, guns blazing not even God can save him but he’s praying He doesn’t take him he doesn’t want to see the Savior he wants to be the bravest wants to be praised in the pages of history but when the shots hit he’s ripped through the kidneys this kid sees his life flashing before his eyes it flies past him before he cries out he realizes he’s dying it’s all crashing down he’s passing out it’s all over he knows he’s going home in a black bag with a flag supposed to show his mom he’s gone for a cause but she’s not consoled at all she just falls to her knees proceeds to weep she can’t believe he’d bleed for no reason she needs him but he’s ceasing to breathe and so at that moment she ceases to be TAKE MY FATE…
